Our Mission You may walk all over our product at AC Flooring, but you'll never take it for granted. Not only do we sell some of the finest floor coverings available today, but we clinch the deal with superior service. AC Flooring, Inc. is co-owned by Roggie Arnold and Ramon "Ray" Carter. It was formerly C&S Supplies, Inc., and has been in business for over 30 years. AC also has the advantage of Carl Snow, former owner, who stayed with AC in the sales department. AC Flooring offers products from all the manufacturers you know and trust; Armstrong, Shaw, Domco, Formica, Wilsonart, Mohawk, Pergo, Queen and many others. And we offer every type of flooring surface you can think of: carpet, wood, ceramic, stone, vinyl and laminate. "We work with the customer," explains Ray. "We try to sell the right product for the right job." "And we service what we sell," adds Roggie. "There's one point of contact all the way through the job. And that's us. You order from us and you deal with us until you are completely satisfied." You could say we are "old fashioned" this way. We honestly believe that the customer is important. "You can count on us. Our word is our bond," says Ray. And we guarantee our work. That kind of dedication to the customer pays off. Much of our business is repeat business. We may start out doing one room in a house but before you know it we've done the whole thing, plus two or three of the neighbor's homes on the street as well. We handle all sizes of jobs. For instance we just finished carpeting the Springfield Hilton hotel from top to bottom. And we did work for the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond and the Westin Hotel in Washington, D.C. We also do a lot of custom work for residential and commercial customers. One woman had us put in a custom runner for a spiral staircase. Now we're doing her basement. And we work with the finest contractors and designers in the area including members of the American Society of Interior Designers. One reason we are in such demand is because we keep up with the latest trends in floor covering. "Trackless carpets are popular now," says Roggie. “There are a lot of Berbers to choose from -- a lot of new ones. We also see a lot of European tiles, especially in the larger sizes." "And laminate floors," adds Ray. "These used to be wood want-to-be's but now they have become a quality flooring in their own right. They can look like tile, stone, wood or just about anything else you want. And it can be installed right over the top of almost any other surface. That can be a plus in terms of cost and inconvenience." AC Flooring has a showroom located at 7401-E Fullerton Road in Springfield.
